Bari is the city of two faces, on one side the elegant Murat neighborhood and on the other the old Bari, overlooking the Adriatic. A maze of alleys, historic and local buildings, it is a city within the city, with about 30 churches and marvelous architectures such as the Basilica of San Nicola, the Svevo Castel , elegant palaces such as the Petruzzelli Theater and the Piccinni Theater. But also rock and hypogean churches carved into the rock, such as the Temple of San Giorgio, the hypogeum of Madia Diana and the “Jewish” hypogeum.
Alessandro Centrelli tells his photo as follows: “In the same are represented the roofs of Bari, with all the antennas that refer to and tell the stories of the Bari area; each antenna corresponds to a family unit … a story … the fiery red sunset seals and emphasizes everything in a hot and hot summer month “.
