Għar Lapsi is a small bay near Siġġiewi, Malta. It is located about 1 km southwest of the Blue Cave. Popular place with fishermen, Ghar Lapsi turns into a natural swimming pool that attracts many tourists and snorkeling enthusiasts, very famous among diving enthusiasts for its 200 meters long coral reef.
Robert Vella tells this photo: Going to take the photos of Filfla, I saw the pallet and I thought it would be a nice photo, so I take out the camera and take a couple of photos. When I got home I didn’t like the result, but the composition was good, so I planned to return and take more photos without haste. The next day I quit my job to go to a bank meeting which was a total disaster. Very angry, sad and disappointed, I didn’t want to go home, I wanted to relax, so what’s better than going back to Ghar Lapsi to take more photos. This time the end result was quite satisfactory.
