Alferello waterfall

Stuning best photo from Planet Color Photography.

Italian version 🇮🇹 Here

The beautiful waterfall, whose origin is on the Alferello stream in the Alfero territory, owes its name to the abundant presence of trout in its waters; in fact the waterfall is also called “Trout waterfall” or “Alferello waterfall(ndr italian language:”Cascata dell’Alferello” o comunemente “Cascata delle Trote“). Characterized by layers of sandstone before falling, its 32 meters give the waterfall a truly monumental aspect. Reaching it is quite simple: The waterfall is located near Bagno di Romagna (province of Forli-Cesena), on the edge of the Casentino Forest Park. From the town of Alfero it is about 25 minutes.

This beautiful photo by Claudio Minotti, makes us understand the suggestion that you can try by visiting this magnificent place.
