April sweet sleep. So goes an old popular belief but for lovers of outdoor walks this is the month that brings everyone out of the house again. We are approaching the season which for many is the most beautiful precisely because everything is reborn, everything is recolored and for photography lovers this means many new shots.

We at Pixel Photo Magazine are certainly not sitting idle and with the release of this new issue, we offer a rich range of beautiful photographs in both black and white and color photographs. The work of many good photographer friends who leave a stimulus to your imagination with their photos.

In the Real Life column this month we find the projects of two excellent photographers who tell different stories with their photos. Stories that lead the viewer to feel transported by a moving train through the Silesian countryside, or to get lost in the simple glances of the people met on the street. Guests of the column are Andrew Silesia and Roberto Rampinelli.

Passion

More and more often, in the various biographies of the authors, we read that the passion developed for a hobby is also of great help for one’s own state of psycho-physical discomfort. This concept also finds its place in the photographic sector. In one of his books, “Diego Mormorio” he reflects on a concept of Zen philosophy in which the eye is placed as the center of man. If, as the Zen masters say, “to meditate is to see things as they are” then photography becomes the instrument par excellence of meditation.

Psycho Emotionality

In a recent interview done by “Enzo Dal Verme” the Indian photographer “Hasnain Soomar” speaking about his photographic project says: “I like to use photography to invite a peaceful state of mind in the spectators. As human beings we have the capacity to experience moments of great discouragement and I want to bring a smile to people’s faces.” The Visual Arts become a tool for psycho-emotional benefits, not only in the suffering person but also in those people who contribute to wellbeing with their work.

Healing

From this perspective, Dr. “Davide Scaramuzza” of the National Cancer Institute highlights the psycho-emotional aspects, not only of the patient, but also of the healthcare workers, “humanizing” the clichés of the canteen in which photography it becomes a relationship between the real and the existent. Relationship of places where life is the trait of continuity and the colors of the photos the thousand shades of daily life.
